Personality: Utena's first pokemon, and as a result, he feels a great deal of responsibility towards his trainer and the other pokemon in her party. However, this is offset by his urge to show off his totally cool skills to everyone around him. Curious, excitable, and a bit egotistical, he's eager to prove what a powerful (and useful!) pokemon he can be. He means well, though, and despite his attention-seeking antics he mostly just wants to help out. Be warned, though: while he can be sweet and gentle towards female trainers, he's far more judgmental of male trainers.

Personality:: Mature and serious-minded, Pidgeot isn't nearly as affectionate as the other pokemon on Utena's team. While she cares about her trainer and weaker teammates just as much as Rapidash, she prefers to show her concern by keeping an eye out for danger. When trouble brews she's the first to spring into action, showing intelligence and cunning even without a trainer's commands. While she may be aloof, she occasionally shows warmth to trainers and pokemon who have spent a great amount of time with her.

Personality: Poor Beedrill is, unfortunately, the epitome of confidence issues. Back when she was a Weedle (and later, a Kakuna), she was often kept out of battles in favor of her stronger teammates. While Utena only wanted to keep her safe, the pokemon began to see herself as useless, to the point where she didn't even bother to evolve until she was convinced otherwise. She's started to take a more tactical role in battles, fighting side by side with her teammates, and her confidence has grown as a result. However, she can still be quite clingy and physically affectionate... which wouldn't be so bad, if she wasn't a giant wasp. Still, she works hard, and hopes to be as useful as Rapidash and Pidgeot one day.

Personality: Named after an old friend of Utena's, Miki is a bright, gentle pokemon. While he's usually quiet and well-behaved, sometimes his curiosity gets the better of him, and he'll wander off to go exploring on his own. Backpacks, bags of food, small cupboards...nothing's safe from him when he's in the mood, and it's taken the joint efforts of Pidgeot and Utena to keep him out of trouble.

Personality:: Out of all the pokemon on Utena's team, Graveler is probably the calmest. Nothing really gets under his skin, and he provides a calming presence for more high-strung pokemon. However, don't confuse his relaxed demeanor for laziness: when work needs to be done, he'll give it his all. Just don't expect him to rush through it or get too worked up over the details.

Personality: The "baby" of the team, Ralts has been watched over by the rest of the team ever since she was hatched. This treatment has left her torn: on the one hand, she loves the attention, but on the other hand she wants to prove that she's just as capable as the rest of them. As a result, she goes through childish mood swings sometimes, acting cool and aloof one minute and slinking back for affection the next. She's also taken to imitating the mannerisms of those around her, particularly human trainers and NPCs she's seen in town. Dancers and performers hold a special interest to her in particular, and she's at her calmest when listening to music on the radio.
